Greater Cincinnati Dance Federation Dangle Dances
Dance, Dance, Dance!
The best way to become a better dancer is to dance often. Visiting other clubs is a great way to do this because experiencing other callers allows you to experience different calling styles. This variety will help you grow in your knowledge and not be stuck in the same old, same old pattern...
Frontier Squares seeks opportunities to network with other clubs to give you the best chance at becoming a great square dancer. In addition to attending our scheduled Banner Raids and Retrievals, we would love to see you earn even more dangles by participating in The Greater Cincinnati Dance Federation's (GCDF) "Dangle Dances".
The dates, times and locations for the 2024 "All-American Party" GCDF Dangle Dances are listed below!
The rules for any dancer to qualify for a dangle through the GCDF:
-
- The dancer or couple must have a hard copy of The Greater Cincinnati Dance Federation Dangle Dance Form. (Click here for GCDF Dangle Dance Form) or you can ask for a hard copy during one of Tuesday's classes or Friday's dances. Only one (1) form is needed per couple.
- Six (6) Dangle Dances must be attended.
- A club officer or club caller must initial your form for each dance.
- Once your form is completed, please give it to Peggy Carney, Russ DeMaris or Becky White (Frontier Squares GCDF Representatives), and they will get them turned in at the next Federation meeting.
