SO YOU WANT TO LEARN TO SQUARE DANCE?
Then we're the place for you!
Today's square dancing is not a thing of the past. Calls are choreographed to many genres of music, including modern and pop favorites.
We welcome anyone who wants to learn! Both couples and solo dancers may join. (Solos will be paired via a computer-generated program.) For classes, we wear casual clothing. Yes, we are family friendly and ages 10 to 110 are welcome.
Beginner Classes begin the first Tuesday in January and are held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Loveland, Ohio from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Our first class covers 10 - 12 calls. Each class thereafter will add 2 - 3 new calls. Those who continue through the entire course will work their way first through MAINSTREAM, and will graduate in October having learned PLUS-LEVEL MODERN WESTERN SQUARE DANCING. In addition to Square Dance Calls each week, you will also learn steps to popular line dances.
